Mobile food distributions managed by Food Banks are key to efficiently addressing gaps in access. North Texas Food Bank has developed a "Community Growth Model" that pairs emergency response with a sustainability model, empowering local community to take over the distribution and lead it long-term. MANNA FoodBank adopted a similar model and has used it to develop sustainable food distributions in both rural communities and communities of color. Both food banks share their models during this session.
